Lemon Poppyseed Cookie

The lemon poppy seed cookies are made by the Alternative Baking Company. I picked my cookie up at LifeSource, but you can get them online too.

 I was amazed by the texture of this cookie. It was thick and chewy and what the texture of every cookie should be. The lemon flavor was good. I felt like it was just enough. Not a huge punch. The poppyseeds added a tiny bit of texture to the cookie.

I may add some poppy seeds to my friends lemon crinkle cookie recipe when I make them. I think lemon poppy seed cookies would make a great addition to a table of tea party style desserts.
